Search Engine Optimization Study: 350 Manufacturers
Outlook: Manufacturers Plan to Invest in SEO Efforts
A separate study suggests that manufacturers are eager and preparing to do much more.
A January 2005 e-business report, "Manufacturers Embrace E-Business," found that 50% of manufacturers plan to include search engine optimization services among their E-Business initiatives in the next 12-18 months. That's second only to the leading initiative - 62% plan to redevelop their web sites in the same period.
For the study, Parsippany, New Jersey-based SVM E-Business Solutions teamed up with the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce to survey marketing executives at U.S.-based manufacturing firms. The complete report is available at: http://www.svmsolutions.com/survey.
The following data from the survey details how manufacturers view their capabilities and sizes-up their plans.
