Step 3 - Strategic Planning and Implementation

Page Titles & Meta Data - Create keyword-rich page titles to help search engines understand target search terms, establish website themes and reflect page content. Meta data sets may have only a nominal influence on most search engine rankings, but well-written meta descriptions can appeal to potential visitors when appearing with search engine results.
Content Recommendations - Integrate strategic keywords and search phrases into the website source code (including some image alt tags) and visible text on designated pages.
Search Engine Submissions and Sitemaps - Submit website to search engines, including creating or updating sitemaps to make it easier for Google, MSN and Yahoo! spiders to crawl and index a website.
Enhanced Local Search - Register with local search directories to improve visibility (no charge for first office; nominal annual fee for other locations).
Directory Submissions - Develop diverse link descriptive text and register with DMOZ, Jayde, JoAnt, ExactSeek, SearchSight, and GlobalSpec directories; contact other specialty directories.
Targeted Link Acquisition - Pursue links from trade associations and publications, vendors, business websites, newsletters, blogs, forums and other sources.
Social Search - Register corporate profiles (as appropriate) with social media websites like Facebook, MySpace, and Squidoo.
Corporate Blog - Offer content, tagging suggestions. To establish a new blog, a $2,500 fee will apply (includes setting up the publishing platform and technical assistance, identifying categories, and the initial strategic consulting).
Articles - Edit, write and/or distribute articles for industry newsletters and other sources.
Guides/White Papers - Edit, write and/or distribute special reports to leading websites, blogs and newsletters.
News Releases - Develop and distribute news releases for products/services, honors, articles, studies, white papers, etc.
Podcasts - Promote audio and video podcasts via specialized directories, websites and blogs.
Video Search - Post videos with appropriate descriptions, including tagging and inbound links.
