Social Media Roundup
By Dominic J. Litten | October 10, 2008
Phew. Not the most awesome of weeks, but we made it to Friday. In celebration of that, and Fathom’s successful field trip to Pizza Hut buffet, I thought I’d lighten it up a bit with some social media-related news that I found interesting from this week.
Ning, the free, easily-developed social network, has integrated with OpenSocial. Developers who have written for one of the other OpenSocial networks (MySpace, hi5, Friendster, etc.) will now be able to bring their applications onto Ning.
DJ Francis, founder and author of OnlineMarketerBlog.com, did a guest post on Read Write Web on why it’s your job to teach your boss about web 2.0 tools, including social media. See that? It’s your job, osmosis will not work.
One of my favorite social media-related blogs, the folks at Ignite Social Media show us how to be all you can be in an online social community.
