Online Search Attracts Consumers

When consumers need to research a product, they typically turn to online search for their answers.
Recently, 92.5% of adults indicated that they “regularly or occasionally research products” online before making buying them in stores, according to a BIGresearch data analysis conducted for the Retail Advertising and Marketing Association (RAMA).

Much of the survey takes a close look at what triggers searches (often print magazine ads). It shows the balance marketers need between online and print.
